Arrested Man Broke Cruiser Door and Fled Police in Maine
A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday after stripping a rented vehicle of parts, fleeing from police and being in possession of meth in Naples, Maine.
Man Arrested after Stripping Rented Truck of Parts
The Poland Police Department said Samuel Knight did not return a rented truck and stripped it of parts. He was arrested at a gas station Friday afternoon.
Suspect Broke Cruiser Door and Fled on Foot
During his arrest, Knight broke the door of the cruiser and fled on foot. He was apprehended again after a brief pursuit, said WGME News.
Facing Multiple Charges
Knight was charged with Aggravated Criminal Mischief, Possession of Meth and Escape.
Investigation Remains Open
He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
