Driver Seriously Injured when Scooter Hit Police Cruiser in Maine
A person on an electric scooter was seriously injured Friday after driving into the side of a police cruiser in Portland.
Electric Scooter Hit Police Cruiser
The accident happened on Elm Street as the officer was entering Marginal Way. The electric scooter hit the cruiser on the driver’s side, said WGME News.
Serious Injuries and Transported to the Hospital
The person had serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Name and age were not released.
Officer had the Right of Way
Police said the officer in the cruiser had the right of way. There are no charges.
