A vehicle crashed into Horn Pond Sunday around noon after it was forced off the road by another vehicle in Acton.

The driver, 30-year-old Chayce Steffiare from Sanbornville, New Hampshire, was not injured.
Driver Told Deputies The Vehicle Was Forced Off the Road by Another Vehicle
The York County Sheriff’s Office said Steffiare’s 2025 Ford Explorer “was forced off the road by an unknown oncoming vehicle” on New Bridge Road.
Vehicle Landed in the Water About 20 Feet from Shore
“Steffiare swerved and went off the roadway and landed in Horn Pond,” according to Deputies. The vehicle ended up 20 feet from the shore.
First Responders Assisting on the Scene and No Injuries Reported
First responders arrived on the scene to assist Steffiare. No injuries were reported.
Vehicle Damaged in Crash and Ongoing Investigation
The vehicle was damaged in the crash. The investigation is active and ongoing.
