A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Assault after threatening a woman with a gun in Hermon.

Garret Foss from Hermon was charged with domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, criminal restraint, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violating conditions of release.

Arrest Made and Man Taken Into Custody at Residence

The Bangor Police Department arrested Foss at a Broad Street residence around 10 pm Sunday.

Witnesses Told Police About Assault and Threats with a Gun

Witnesses and people who live at the address told officers that Foss threatened the woman with a gun and violently assaulted her.

Man Arrested and Taken to County Jail to Face Charges

He was taken into custody and transported to the Penobscot County Jail and booked.
