A car caught fire and was fully engulfed in flames Sunday night at a gas station in Turner.

Officials said the fire happened at the Irving gas station on Route 4 close to the Turner and Auburn line.

The vehicle was parked when it caught on fire and no one was pumping gas at the time, said WGME News. No injuries were reported.

The Irving gas station was closed Monday. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
