Arrests Made in Connection to Ongoing Criminal Activity in The Patten Region
A 24-year-old Sherman woman, a 25-year-old Patten man and one juvenile were arrested Thursday afternoon for burglaries, thefts and criminal mischief in the greater Patten area.
Arrested are Lacey K. Brackett, 24, from Sherman and Nicholas A. Champagne, 25, from Patten. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office, Maine State Police and the Maine Warden Services have been investigating the crimes in an joint effort after receiving numerous reports. More charges are expected to be filed, said Sheriff Troy Morton, Penobscot County.
Sheriff Morton said, the public's help were instrumental to bringing a conclusion to the case.
Several incidents are still under investigation. No additional details can be released at this time, said Sheriff Morton.
