58-Year-Old Woman Died after Single-Vehicle Crash in Maine
A 58-year-old woman died Monday after a crash on Starks Street in Anson.
Woman Died at the Scene of the Crash
Valerie Hoyt of Industry was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle accident, said police.
Driver Veered Off the Road
Hoyt veered off the roadway and crashed on the side of the road, according to the Morning Sentinel.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors. Hoyt was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is under investigation.
