2-Year-Old Found in the Woods & Rescued by Wardens in Maine
A missing 2-year-old girl was found and rescued by Wardens Tuesday after she got lost in the woods near her home in Jay.
Missing 2-Year-Old Found
The Maine Warden Service said the girl’s mother was doing chores outside with her daughter when she noticed she was missing.
14 Wardens and 2 K-9s
The mother called 911 around 11 am and 14 Wardens arrived with 2 K-9s.

Game Warden Jake Voter and K-9 Koda found the 2-year-old a few hours later in the thick brush about 300 yards behind their house.
Minor Scrapes
The girl had minor scrapes and first responders confirmed she was uninjured.
