A 33-year-old woman was injured after a crash into a utility pole knocked out power on Broadway and Lincoln Street in South Portland.
Woman Injured after Hitting Utility Pole and Power Outage
South Portland Police said she was taken to Maine Medical Center with injuries after her vehicle hit a utility pole around 8:08 am Wednesday. Her name was not released.
Multiple Charges
She was charged with Imprudent speed, Failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, Changing course of travel when unsafe.
Road Closed for Repairs
The area was closed to traffic while repairs were made to restore power.
