Woman Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 27-year-old woman was arrested Friday and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking after a traffic stop in Auburn.
Selling Drugs in Parking Lot of Business
The Auburn Police Department said Katlynn Stump was under surveillance related to a tip that she was selling drugs in a parking lot of a business on Minot Street.
Police Seized $20,000 Worth of Fentanyl
Police said Stump was pulled over and admitted to having narcotics in the vehicle. Officers seized 240 grams of fentanyl with an approximate street value of $20,000.
Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Possession
Stump was taken to jail and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Drug Possession.
Selling Fentanyl Close to School
Police said “the trafficking charge is aggravated due to the quantity of fentanyl seized, as well as the location, which directly abuts the property of Fairview Elementary School.”
