
27-Year-Old Man Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with three counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking after a months-long investigation in Bangor.

John Clement from Bangor was taken into custody Wednesday by Agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency's North Central District Task Force.
Controlled Purchases Were Made as Part of Investigation
“The investigation included controlled purchases of cocaine from Clement,” according to the MDEA.
Arrested During a Traffic Stop
Clement was arrested after a traffic stop by the Bangor Police Department and the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department and the MDEA.
Vehicle Searched and Drugs Seized
The vehicle was searched and police seized 440 ggw (grams gross weight) of cocaine.

Taken to County Jail and Booked on the Charges
He was transported to the Penobscot County Jail and faces three counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking.
Aggravated Drug Trafficking Charges
“These charges are aggravated by the weight of the drugs seized and Clement having a prior conviction for Trafficking,” said the MDEA.

Clement was on probation for a prior drug trafficking conviction.
