Two Bodies Found after Fire Destroyed Home in Maine
Two bodies were found inside a residence Sunday morning after a fire destroyed a home at 1017 Maine Road in Otisfield.
Two Adults Lived at the Residence
The Maine State Police said “it is believed the deceased are 77-year-old Jean Jalbert and 65-year-old Donna Jalbert who lived at the residence. DNA will be used to identify the remains.”
Chief Medical Examiner Office
The two adult bodies were taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner Office in Augusta for autopsies.

Cause of Fire under Investigation
The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating what caused the fire at the 100-year-old house.
