Trooper Injured & Two Hurt after Cruiser Hit on Maine Turnpike
A Maine State Trooper was injured and two others were hurt after a cruiser was rear-ended Saturday night during a traffic stop on the Turnpike in Biddeford.

The crash happened around 7:33 pm after Trooper Patrick Flanagan pulled over a vehicle.
Woman Rear-Ended Cruiser at Traffic Stop
Another vehicle driven by 25-year-old Xianying Yu from Allston, Massachusetts was traveling southbound and rear-ended the cruiser. She was injured and taken to a hospital in Biddeford.
Cruiser Spun Around and Hit Stopped Vehicle
“The force of the crash caused Trooper Flanagan’s cruiser to spin around and strike the vehicle he had pulled over on the traffic stop. The driver of that vehicle suffered minor injuries,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
Trooper Injured and Taken to the Hospital
Trooper Flanagan was injured and transported to a hospital in Portland.
Summons for Failing to Keep Right
Yu was summonsed for Failing to Keep Right. The crash is under investigation.
