Suspects on the Loose after Confrontation & Shots Fired in Maine

Two male suspects are on the loose after shooting a gun at another male in Auburn.

Three Involved in Confrontation

The Auburn Police Department said two males in hoodies caused a disturbance Friday night outside a James Street residence.

Chased Down the Street

A male came out of the building, confronted them and chased the two suspects down the street.

Fleeing Suspect Fired Two Gunshots

“One of the fleeing subjects turned and discharged a firearm twice. One bullet struck the tire of a parked vehicle, and another hit the foundation of a nearby building,” said Auburn PD.

16-Year-Old Suspect

Officers said those involved knew each other. One of the suspects is believed to be 16-years-old. The other person was not identified.
