The RCMP is investigating three incidents involving farm animals that were either stolen, injured or killed in Haut-Madawaska during August and September.


Two cows were stolen from a Caron Brook farm the week of August 21st, said the RCMP. Additionally, two farm animals from a Clair farm were shot and injured at the end of August. A cow was killed after being shot in Saint-Francais between September 7th and 9th, the RCMP said. Police have not determined if the incidents are related, and are continuing to investigate.
