The Presque Isle Police Department received a call from school staff Friday morning reporting a burglary that had happened sometime overnight.  Someone had gained access through a second floor window and made off with two laptop computers valued at about $2,400.

MSAD 1 staff reviewed surveillance video and were able to identify three suspects. Presque Isle police also collected evidence at the scene and arrested two adults and a juvenile.

24-year-old Joshua Easler of Mapleton, 20-year Peterson of Presque Isle and a 17-year-old male were charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass.

Easler and Peterson are scheduled to appear in Caribou Superior Court on September 17th.

The teen was placed under house arrest by the Juvenile Community Corrections Officer. His court date is October 3rd.

Presque Isle police say the suspects rummaged through items throughout the school but nothing else was stolen.
