56-Year-Old Man Died after Rollover Crash in Maine
A 56-year-old man died Thursday after a rollover crash on Athens Road in Hartland.
Man Died after Roll Over Crash
Police said Matthew Sites of Athens left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled over. The GMC pickup truck landed on its roof in a private driveway.
Driver Lost Consciousness
Police said a 39-year-old passenger, Kendall Judd, tried to take control of the vehicle after Sites "lost consciousness" while driving.
Passenger Taken to the Hospital
Judd was not injured in the crash, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, said the Morning Sentinel.
Police: Speed and Alcohol do not Appear to be Factors
Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. Both Sites and the passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
