One person died Friday after a snowmobile crash near Kokadjo, Maine.
One Dead after Snowmobile Crash
The Greenville Fire Department said the person died from fatal injuries in the area of ITS 86 West.
Limited Phone Reception
“Due to the lack of phone reception, details were very limited. Fire and EMS units responded to a nearby road that plotted near the 911 coordinates,” said Greenville FD.
Crews Snowmobiled to 4 Miles to Crash Site
First responders then rode snowmobiles approximately 4 miles into the crash site.
Crash Under Investigation
The crash is being investigated by the Maine Warden Service. Name and age of the deceased were not released.
