One Man Died and One Man Seriously Injured after Crash in Maine
A 51-year-old man died Thursday afternoon and a 36-year-old man was seriously injured after a head-on collision on Route 1 in Steuben, Maine.
One Man Died and Another Man Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash
The Maine State Police said David Worcester from Lamoine died at the scene. The other driver, 36-year-old Nicholas Libby from Addison, was seriously injured.
Vehicle Crossed the Centerline
Police said Libby was traveling north in his 2014 Nissan Rogue when “his vehicle crossed the centerline of the road and struck” Worcester’s 2003 Subaru Forester.
Driver with Serious Injuries Taken to Hospital
Libby was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Hospital in Bangor.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The crash is under investigation. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Ellsworth Police Department and the Steuben Fire Department assisted Troopers.
