Moncton Man Charged Following House Fire in Dieppe

A 37-year-old Moncton man is charged in connection with a fire in Dieppe on Lakeburn Ave, December 2nd.

Police say it appears the fire started in a vehicle and spread to the house around 4:30 am. No one was injured as the occupants got out of the house, said the Codiac Regional RCMP.

Christian Gallant was charged December 3rd with arson/disregard for human life and was remanded into custody. His Moncton Provincial Court appearance is set for December 6th at 1:30 pm for a bail hearing, said the RCMP.
