Man with 4 Kids in Truck Arrested for OUI after Crash in Maine
A 26-year-old man with four kids in truck and a 55-year-old woman were both arrested for OUI Saturday night after a crash on Route 100 at Skillin Road in Cumberland.
Four Children in Vehicle with Drunk Driver
The Cumberland Police Department said a Standish man with four children in a pickup truck crashed after pulling in front of a sedan around 9:56 pm.
Man Arrested for OUI and Additional Charges
He was arrested for OUI, Violating Conditions of Release, and Endangering the Welfare of Children.
Two Injured and One Extricated from Vehicle
One person in the sedan had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both people in the sedan were injured and taken to the hospital.
Police Advised of Female Drunk Driver Approaching Crash Scene
While police were still on the scene, officers were advised of a possible drunk driver on Route 100 heading in that direction.
Woman Arrested for Operating Under the Influence
The woman was stopped and taken into custody. She was charged with OUI and transported to the Cumberland County Jail. Names were not released.
