A 20-year-old gang-affiliated man was sentenced to 5 years for Drug Trafficking in Maine.
60 Months in Prison
Jervis Almanzar was given 60 months in prison and will also have four years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty on August 28, 2024.
Admitted Gang Member
Almanzar is a known and admitted Trinitarios gang member, according to court records.
Sold to Confidential Source
He was taken into custody in January 2023 after selling 300 grams of fentanyl to a confidential source.
FBI Investigation
The FBI said Almanzar delivered the drugs himself to a location in Maine for two different transactions.
Police Involved in Case
Assisting in the investigation was the Augusta Police Department.
