A 28-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison after a woman died in a crash and a house was damaged in Lewiston.

Blaze Small was driving under the influence and going 70 mph over the speed limit when he crashed a BMW into a home on Webster Street in May 2025.
Woman was Passenger in the Vehicle and Died at the Scene
A 28-year-old female passenger, Natasha Thoits from Lewiston, died in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sentenced to Five Years with All But 5.5 Years Suspended
Small was sentenced to five years with all but 5.5 years suspended. He will also have four years of supervised release.
Appearance in County Superior Court
He made his court appearance on April 21 in Androscoggin County Superior Court.
