Man Injured after Tractor-Trailer Crash on Turnpike in Maine
A 73-year-old man was injured early Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer crashed into a guardrail and blocked traffic on I-95 in Wells.

Larry Beaugeard from Dunbarton, New Hampshire was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Driver Lost Control and Crashed into Guardrail
The Maine State Police said he was driving his tractor-trailer on the Turnpike around 2:20 am when “he lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway to the left and became intertwined with the guardrail, causing disabling damage to the truck.”
Traffic Blocked on I-95
The semi blocked traffic in both the northbound and southbound passing lanes.

“The tractor trailer was mostly empty however some plumbing supplies on board became strewn across the northbound lanes,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
Traffic Reopened on Turnpike
The rig was towed away and the lanes were reopened. The crash is under investigation.
