Man Attacked with Knife after Attempted Robbery in Maine
Police are looking for a suspect after a man was attacked with a knife Friday night in his driveway in Clinton.
Attempted Robbery in Driveway
The Clinton Police Department said a man on a bike approached him during an attempted robbery around 5:30 pm on River Road.
Multiple Knife Lacerations
The homeowner had multiple knife lacerations following the assault.
Neighbor Helped and Suspect Fled
“A neighbor heard the commotion and came to help at which point the suspect took off on foot, got in a vehicle and fled the scene,” said Clinton PD.
Taken to the Hospital with Injuries
Police searched for the assailant while EMS treated the victim. He was taken to the hospital with injuries.
