Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking & 3 Arrested in Maine

A 31-year-old woman was charged with Drug Trafficking Wednesday and three other people were arrested in Madawaska after a long investigation.

Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking

Angelina Dube from Madawaska was arrested at her home and charged with Aggravated Furnishing of Drugs and Drug Trafficking.

Drugs and Money Seized

The Madawaska Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at Dube’s residence and seized meth, prescription pills and large sums of cash.

Two Arrested on Warrants

Also taken into custody during the search was 35-year-old Charity Deschaines from Van Buren and 28-year-old Jeremiah Knox from Van Buren. Both had outstanding warrants.

Man Charged with Drug Possession

Police also arrested 55-year-old Brian Dumais from Fort Kent. He was charged with Violating Conditions of Release and Unlawful Drug Possession.

Ongoing Drug Investigation

The investigation is ongoing. Agencies involved in the case were the Madawaska Police Department, MDEA and U.S. Border Patrol.
