
Man and Woman Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A man and a woman have been arrested for aggravated drug trafficking after drugs and guns were seized at their home in Fairfield.
Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said 38-year-old Amanda Douglass and 38-year-old William Douglass, both from Fairfield, were taken into custody on Wednesday after a search of their residence on Gagnon Road.
Drugs, Guns and Money Seized
Law enforcement seized 40 grams of various drugs and other paraphernalia, two loaded guns, and over $3,800 in suspected drug money, said WABI News.
Both Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking
William Douglass faces charges for aggravated drug trafficking and violating conditions of release. He was out on bail for a separate drug charge.
Amanda Douglass is charged with aggravated drug trafficking and violating probation on a separate drug-related charge in 2023.
Jail and Probation Hold
They were both taken to the Somerset County Jail and were placed on probation hold. More charges are possible.
