Huge? These Maine Potatoes Dwarf a Sleeping Baby
Wow. That’ll make a lot of french fries. They don't look real but trust me, they sure are.
But awww, what a cute baby. Beautiful girl.
Does anybody in the state of Maine wonder what county these potatoes were grown in?
You bet, The County. Aroostook, indeed.

As big as Dad’s face too. He called them Caribou Russets. Is that Russet Burbank or Russet Norkotah? Or maybe Russet Noggin.
Potatoes are Maine’s Number One crop for a reason. The growing season usually has the right combination of sun and rain. (Maybe we had too much rain this summer.) And the Maine winters that prevent pests resulting in less need for pesticide use.
How many potatoes are needed to fill a 50-pound bag? Think carefully before you answer.
Those potatoes look like six or more potatoes stuck together. A real handful.
