High Winds Knocks Out Power In The County

Hang on to those hats, glasses and toupe's, if applicable, because the winds in the County and northern Maine is knocking out power to thousands of residents here.

Emera Maine has advised the public that their electrical crews are have been deployed throughout northern and eastern Maine in an effort to repair damaged power lines and to restore that power to the residents they serve.

Emera Maine has also beefed up their staff in order to receive field concerns from the public in relation to the gusty winds that are causing the damage.

Remember, never touch a downed power line for any reason and be sure to slow down and move over should you be driving past work crews on the roadways.
