Drug Trafficking Arrest; Crack and Firearms Seized, Buxton, Maine
An 18-year-old Buxton man was arrested on Drug Trafficking charges Wednesday, March 9, 2022 after an undercover investigation.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Buxton Police arrested Kelly-Klaus Sahabo after an investigation into crack cocaine distribution in Cumberland and York Counties.
Undercover agents have been working the case for several months. They purchased crack cocaine at the Sahabo’a Buxton residence at 58 Bradbury Lane. Agents also made purchases at different locations in Cumberland County and York County.
Sahabo was arrested Wednesday morning around 11:30 a.m. as he left his home. Buxton Police made a traffic stop and took him into custody without incident, said officials. He was taken to the York County Jail with bail set at $500.
A search warrant was executed at his residence at 58 Bradbury Lane in Buxton. Approximately 76 grams of crack cocaine was seized in addition to two firearms and suspected drug proceeds in the amount $3,125 . Authorities said one of the firearms was reported stolen in October 2021 during a motor vehicle burglary in Portland. Officials said the approximate street value of the crack cocaine is &7,600.
More charges are forthcoming as the investigation continues into the drugs and firearms.
