The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Auburn Police Department seized three firearms and a “significant amount of drugs” from a Bower Street apartment in Bangor on Friday, January 21.

Two people were arrested on January 20 outside the Androscoggin County Jail after Auburn Police officers seized a large amount of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine from the vehicle. Angelena Quirion, 39-years-old from Bangor and 33-year-old Adam Jalbert from Caribou, Maine were taken into custody. Read more about the arrests and charges from the original article.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s North Central Task Force in Bangor was contacted by Auburn Police Detectives following the arrest of Quirion and Jalbert. Agents identified the apartment on Bower Street in Bangor as belonging to Quirion. They obtained a search warrant for the apartment and searched the residence on January 21, 2022.

Two pounds of fentanyl, close to two pounds of meth, two handguns, an AR 15 rifle, and suspected drug proceeds over $30,000 were seized. Officials said the street value of the drugs was approximately $250,000. Quirion is still being held at the Androscoggin County Jail.
