A fire and explosion on Sunday afternoon destroyed a manufacturing building and other structures in Chelsea, Maine.

One of the buildings at New England Rent to Own exploded. The company makes modular homes and sheds.
No One Injured
The fires started around 1 pm. No one was inside and there were no reports of injuries, said WGME News.
Owners said Cause of Fire may have been from Lithium Batteries
The Maine Fire Marshal's Office said the owners believed that lithium batteries charging power tools inside the building may have caused the fire.
Eight Structures on Fire
At least eight structures caught fire. The main building was housed with building materials, unfinished modular homes and sheds.
Work in Another Facility
The company said it plans to work in another facility for the time being.
