Boy Shocked by Power Line Climbing a Tree in Aroostook County
Presque Isle Fire Chief Darrell White said an 11-year-old boy was shocked by a power line while climbing a tree near Carmichael Street in Presque Isle, Tuesday around 6:30 pm.
He was taken to A.R. Gould hospital, and then flown to Boston by helicopter where he is recovering.
The boy was unconscious in the tree when rescue arrived, said officials. He had come in contact with a power line, according to WMTW.
Chief White said the severity of the injuries was unknown.
His name was not released.
