Beechwood, NB Fire Displaces Family of Four

A fire in Beechwood, NB destroyed a two-storey family farmhouse and displaced a family of four early Sunday morning.

The family had to jump from an upstairs window due to heavy smoke and flames. No injuries were reported for the couple and two young children. They are staying with friends, said the Canadian Red Cross.

Disaster volunteers from Woodstock will help with emergency items and essentials.

No information was given on the cause of the fire. The home was located at 9945 Highway 105 in Beechwood – about 15 kilometres north of Florenceville.
