State Police and the Maine Warden Service joined Skowhegan Police Tuesday in looking for a woman who has been missing for six months.
40-year-old Tina Stadig of Skowhegan has not been seen since May. State Police detectives and members of the department’s evidence response team, along with game wardens, are searching a home along Route 150 in Skowhegan and an adjacent 3 to 5 acre wooded area.
Three police tracking dogs are also involved in today’s effort. The home is occupied by a man who was a friend of Stadig and she would occasionally stay there. The last known sighting of Stadig was in Skowhegan on May 28.
Stadig is 5’2”, weighs about 140 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information on her is asked to call either Skowhegan Police at 474-6908, or State Police in Augusta at 624-7076.
