
Man Arrested after Two Women & Man Severely Assaulted in Maine
A 25-year-old man was arrested after two women and a man were assaulted and seriously injured in Orneville.
Elevated Aggravated Assault Charges
Lindel "Anthony" Wilson from Orneville was taken into custody Monday and charged with Elevated Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault.
Man and Two Women Seriously Injured After Assault
The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office said the assault happened on October 28 around 10:10 pm. Deputies arrived on the scene to find a man and two women severely injured in the assault.
Suspect and Victims Knew Each Other
“All parties involved were known to each other,” said the Sheriff's Office.
Major Crimes Unit Brought In Due to Severity of Injuries
The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit responded due to the severity of the injuries. Three Rivers Ambulance Service was also called.
Warrant Issued for Suspect’s Arrest
The investigation included an arrest warrant from the District Attorney’s Office.
Transported to County Jail and Bail Sat at $10,000
Wilson was arrested and taken to the Piscataquis County Jail with bail set at $10,000.
Criminal History and Ongoing Assault Investigation
Officials said he has a criminal history in South Carolina. The investigation remains open and is ongoing.
