Aroostook County potatoes are shipped all over the world each and every year. Potatoes are what we do!

Growing up we would get out of school for three weeks each year for potato harvest so that we could help pick potatoes, work on the harvester, or even in the potato house. All of which are hard work and build great character. I have many fond memories of working with my high school pals, throwing rotten potatoes at one another! What a great time!

I came across the video below and had to share. It features Presque Isle's own Graves' Shop 'N Save. Check it out!

What are your memories of potato harvest, good or bad? Tell us on Facebook! We'd love to hear them!
