September has been an especially dry month for the county. Reported rainfall in Caribou has been the lowest in five years at 2.59". If you go a little bit further south it was considerably worse, Bangor observed only 0.89" of rain this past September, which made it the 3rd driest September on record behind only the driest September in 1929 with 0.64", and 1948 with 0.74" of rain. I want to hear from the farmers out there, how has it affected you this season?
