If you’ve ever been sprayed by a skunk, had your house sprayed, or your cat or dog got hit, than you know how long the smell stays on your clothes, furniture, in the air, on everything, everywhere.

The house or garage is one of the worst. Everything you have smells like a skunk and the stench stays around for weeks.Your furniture, clothes, food, and even your toothbrush reaks.

You'll need to buy new things - be advised the odor is strong when you go to the store. You can't smell like that at work - even the slightest scent can stink up the office. It takes weeks - even over a month - before things get back to normal.

The best thing is don't get sprayed & limit your skunk encounters. Here are some things you can do.
