21-Year-Old Man Died and Two People Injured after Crash in Maine
A 21-year-old man died and two people were injured Monday morning after a crash on Route 201 in Winslow.
Two Vehicles Side-Swiped Each Other
The collision happened around 5:30 am after two vehicles side-swiped each other near Taylor Road.
Man Died and Passenger Injured
The Winslow Police Department said 21-year-old Dominic Reid from Waterville died at the scene. His passenger, 21-year-old Jasmine French from Waterville was injured and taken to Thayer Center for Health.
Driver Treated at the Scene
The driver of the other vehicle, 34-year-old Nicholas Blanchard from Augusta, was treated at the scene and medically cleared.
Police: Alcohol and Speed do not Appear to be Factors
Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
