
18-Year-Old Man Charged with Felony Theft in Maine
An 18-year-old man was arrested for felony theft after he was charged with stealing $40,000 from a vehicle in Rockland.
Felony Theft Charges
Zachary Gilbert from Rockland was apprehended Friday. He had five sets of conditions of release from prior criminal charges.
Juvenile Suspects Involved
The Rockland Police Department said “a juvenile was also charged with felony theft and currently has charges pending and warrants for four more juvenile suspects.”
Interviews and Search Warrants
During the investigation, police interviewed suspects and executed search warrants at residences and hotels in Thomaston, Warren, and Owls Head.
"Unsecured Money" in Vehicle
“It is believed the victim was targeted given the large amount of unsecured money,” said Rockland PD.
