The Woodstock Police Force is looking for a suspect involved in a recent arson fire that destroyed a pickup truck in a residential neighborhood near the Ayr Motor Centre in Woodstock.

Woodstock Police and Woodstock Fire Department responded to a vehicle on fire in the yard at 115 Helen Street on October 31, shortly before 1 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 1998 GMC Sierra pickup fully engulfed in flames.

Police say the investigation has revealed that an unidentified person lit the truck on fire and fled in the direction of Townsview School. The person is described as being of average height and build, wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans and a ball hat and carrying a back pack.
