
Woman Sentenced to 2 Years for Aggravated Assault & OUI in Maine
A 45-year-old woman was sentenced to 2 years in prison after driving drunk and critically injuring another woman in a crash on I-95.
Fourth OUI Charge
Sarah Lincoln from Winthrop was charged with Aggravated Assault and Aggravated OUI for the collision on June 17, 2023. It was her fourth OUI charge.
Wrong Way on I-95
Court records said Lincoln drove the wrong way on I-95 and was operating under the influence of alcohol.
Victim had Life-Threatening Injuries
She collided with 18-year-old Julia Kronstrand around 8:17 pm. Kronstrand had life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Two Years in Prison
Officials said Lincoln was given a sentence of seven years with all but two years suspended.
