Woman in Wheelchair Died after Crash with Minivan in Maine
A 62-year-old woman in a motorized wheelchair died Wednesday morning after she was hit by a minivan in Camden.
Woman Thrown from Wheelchair
Michelle Bishop from Camden was thrown from the wheelchair. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WGME News.
Driver did not see Woman in his Lane
Police said an 82-year-old man in a minivan hit Bishop on John Street around 8:20 am. Officers said the sun was blocking his vision and he did not see her in his lane.
