A 24-year-old Carleton County woman who was injured in a single-vehicle crash on July 25 in Three Brooks, has died in hospital.

The RCMP says the woman from Oakland, N.B., passed away from her injuries on Tuesday. A 32-year-old man from Plaster Rock still remains in hospital in critical condition.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the SUV travelling on Highway 109 in Three Brooks left the road and crashed into two telephone poles.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a green GMC Yukon between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on the night of the crash travelling from Perth-Andover to Three Brooks to contact the Woodstock RCMP at (506) 325-3000.
