
Woman Died & Three Injured after Three-Vehicle Crash in Maine
A 39-year-old woman died Sunday night and three people were seriously injured after a three-vehicle rollover crash in Gouldsboro.
One Dead and Three Injured after Three-Vehicle Crash
The crash happened around 6:55 pm at the intersection of Route 1 and Old Route 1.
Woman Died at the Scene of the Crash
Heather Allen from Ellsworth was pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver Failed Stop at Stop Sign
Her Chevy Trailblazer was hit by 46-year-old Courtney Washington from Bangor who failed to stop at a stop sign, according to police.

Third Vehicle Involved in Crash and Rollover
“The impact caused Allen’s vehicle to spin into the westbound lane of Route 1, where it was struck by a red 2014 Subaru Legacy which was traveling westbound on Route 1. The impact caused Allen’s vehicle to roll over,” said the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Three People Injured and Transported to the Hospital
Three people were injured in the crash including Washington, a passenger in Allen’s vehicle and the driver of the Subaru Legacy. They were all taken to the hospital.

Route 1 Closed for Hours and Reopened
Route 1 in the area was closed to traffic for several hours and later reopened.
