A 74-year-old woman died after she was hit by a pickup truck in Waterville on Wednesday evening.

Pedestrian Hit by Truck as She was Crossing the Street

Kathleen Corridan from Waterville was hit around 4:40pm as she crossed the street at the intersection of Kennedy Memorial Drive and Brigham Street.

Airlifted to the Hospital with Serious Injuries

She was flown by helicopter to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. Corridan was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Pickup Truck Driver Not Injured

The 60-year-old driver of the GMC pickup truck was not injured in the crash.

Wearing Dark Clothes at the Time of the Crash

Police said Corridan was wearing dark clothes at the time of the crash.

Ongoing Crash Investigation

No charges have been filed in the case, The crash investigation is active and ongoing.
