Two People Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Maine
Two people were arrested Thursday morning for drug trafficking after drugs were seized at a residence on Weld Road in Wilton, Maine.
Drug Trafficking Arrests in Maine
The Wilton Police Department said 41-year-old Jessica Powers from Wilton and 41-year-old Lance Weymouth from Jay were arrested.
Others Involved
Also present at the residence when the warrant was executed was 49-year-old Jason Masterson from Wilton, 37-year-old Adam Pearson from Wilton and 32-year-old Jorge Gonzalez from Rumford.
Drugs Seized with Search Warrant
Police executed the search warrant around 8 am Thursday and seized suspected heroin or fentanyl, crack and other drug trafficking evidence.
Numerous Drug Crimes at Residence
Wilton PD said “The residences are located near a main route often traveled by school buses and near schools. This is the second search warrant executed at this address within the last year. Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Wilton Police Department have charged numerous individuals, involved in several incidents, since 2017 for drug trafficking charges and numerous other drug related crimes, all connected to this address.”
Case Investigators
Law enforcement involved in the investigation include the MDEA, the Wilton Police Department, Farmington Police Department, Jay Police Department and The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
