
Two Men Charged with Drug Trafficking after Arrests in Maine
Three people were arrested Sunday and two men were charged with Drug Trafficking after narcotics were seized as part of an ongoing investigation in Portland.
Search Warrant Executed in Drug Investigation
The Special Reaction Team executed a search warrant at Franklin Towers on Cumberland Avenue around 7:30 pm.
Three Arrested and Charged
The Portland Police Department said 39-year-old Noorhussein Ibrahim, 58-year-old Shane Leroux and 55-year-old Christopher Alan were taken into custody.
Man Charged with Drug Trafficking
Ibrahim was in possession of 68 grams of cocaine base and was charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking and Aggravated Drug Trafficking.
Second Person Charged with Drug Trafficking
Leroux was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Falsifying Physical Evidence. Leroux and Ibrahim were in possession of 258 grams of cocaine HCL.
Third Person Charged
Alan faces charges for Violating Conditions of Release and Refusing to Submit to Arrest/Detention.
Ongoing Investigation
The drug investigation is ongoing and remains an open case.
