Two Charged with Theft of ATVs in Caribou & Presque Isle, Maine
Two people have been charged after an ATV was stolen from Plourde and Plourde in Caribou and another ATV was taken from Harry’s Honda in Presque Isle.
ATVs Stolen in Aroostook County, Maine
The two people charged with Theft by unauthorized Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Criminal Mischief.
Suspects Facing Several Charges
Thirty-five-year-old Krystle Doody from Caribou was arrested, summonsed and released. Twenty-three-year-old Caidyn Case was in custody at the Aroostook County Jail on an unrelated warrant arrest by the Presque Isle Police Department.
Two ATVs Stolen from Two Businesses
The Caribou Police Department said the thefts happened on or about March 20. A 2023 4x4 CFmoto CFORCE ATV was taken from Plourde and Plourde and a 2023 Honda Rancher 4x4 ATV taken from Harry’s Hond.
Damage to Other ATVs
Caribou Police said there was damage to the ignitions on a half dozen other ATVs on both lots during the same timeframe.
ATVs Located
Sgt. Keith Ouellete of the Caribou Police Department located “two stolen ATVs taken from Plourde and Plourde in Caribou on or about March 20th and Harry’s Motorsports in Presque Isle around the same time,” said Caribou PD.
Warrant Issued for Another Suspect
Caribou Police said one more suspect is at large and a warrant was requested for Receiving Stolen Property. Name and age were not released.
